Whatever artistic expression emerges from my
images comes from my strengths as a photojournalist and my passion, in the heat of the moment, to try to capture my subjects
and their occasional slips of hand that make them each unique: the quick, unexpected head turn, the ashes blowing like snowflakes
into the campfire, the calloused finger bending a Gibson's string for that bluesy note, or the shadows that
few others see, behind the piano man, dancing on the wall.
